You are part of the team but your role is different, your job is to empower them to do the best work they possibly can.
And, now that you are a $title-name, you are also part of the peer group of $title-name in your department or whole company.
You belong to two teams now:
- 1st Team - Your peer group of $title-name
- 2nd Team - The team you are leading
